Q1 2026 Entrepreneur Success Survey Winner
At First Southwest Community Fund, we believe that listening to entrepreneurs is essential to building programs that truly support small businesses and strengthen our communities. Each quarter, we invite entrepreneurs to complete our Entrepreneur Success Survey, a key tool that helps us understand the real impact of our programs and identify opportunities to develop new resources based on community interest and need.
To thank participants for sharing their insights, everyone who completes the survey and enters their email address is entered into a quarterly drawing to win a $100 gift card to a local business in their community. Winners are contacted directly and provided with a list of businesses to choose from—keeping the investment local and community-focused.

Supporting Local: Beverly’s Gift Card Selection
As part of the survey prize, Beverly chose to support another longstanding local business—Valley Meat and Food.
Founded in 1965, Valley Meat and Food is a retail and wholesale meat market serving walk-in customers, restaurants, schools, and businesses throughout the San Luis Valley and Northern New Mexico. While the business transitioned to new ownership in 2025, the mission and vision remain unchanged: providing fresh, quality meats and exceptional service.
Valley Meat and Food grinds ground beef fresh daily and offers cut‑to‑order steaks and specialty meats. Beverly’s selection highlights the importance of keeping dollars circulating locally and supporting businesses that have long served their communities.
