First Southwest Community Fund is excited to welcome Gwen Bonilla as our new Commercial Lender.

In her role as Commercial Lender, Gwen will work one-on-one with small business owners to understand their businesses, unique circumstances and financing needs. She’ll help borrowers navigate the lending process, from gathering documentation and understanding cash flow to identifying financing solutions that support their goals.
For Gwen, the opportunity to join FSWCF is also deeply connected to her Colorado roots and her desire to make an impact through her work.
“I was born and raised in Colorado. I’ve felt the bone-chilling wind at the top of Loveland Mountain and the bone-melting bliss of the hot springs. I love Colorado, and I love raising my kids here.
Throughout my career, I’ve been single-minded about finding a way to earn a living while making a positive impact on the world. I love the work nonprofit financial institutions do to support local economies. Every loan we make creates a ripple effect, reaching other businesses, customers, employees and the families behind those businesses. It’s powerful and important work.
